Meech Apparel is more than a mere clothing brand. Instead, Meech Apparel seeks to create social awareness about the injustices of the criminal justice system in America today (as the founder himself is a victim of a wrongful conviction and ongoing incarceration). Additionally, Meech Apparel founder: Demetrius "L.A. Meech" Franklin has assumed a hands-on approach to bettering the underserved community that he came from. Through his various charitable donations and philanthropic efforts, Demetrius "L.A. Meech" Franklin is focused on building meaningful two-way relationships that provide ongoing support within the South Central Los Angeles area. The Meech Apparel team believes that progress begins at the ground level, and thus; seeks to affect change through volunteer efforts led by those closest to a community's obstacles and opportunities. This is a mission that is very near and dear to the heart of Demetrius "L.A. Meech" Franklin and the entire Meech Apparel staff because he believes that together, they can lay the groundwork for meaningful social economic change within a community that needs it most.
